Watch Around Water Policy

Blacktown City Council, The Royal Life Saving Society, and Emerton Leisure Centre proudly support the Watch Around Water Campaign.

Watch Around Water requires all children under the age of 5 years to wear a Watch Around Water wristband issued at reception and be within arm's reach of a parent/guardian over 18 years at all times.

If you cannot reach your child…You've gone too far!

Children aged from 6-9 years must be supervised by an adult (over 18yrs) while in the pool area of the centre at all times. The adult must be actively supervising and their view cannot be obstructed.

Patrons who do not follow the Watch Around Water Guidelines will be asked to leave the facility.
